Costuming and Throw-Making Schedule - Don’t run out of time! Throw and costume parties are opportunities for WoW members to be in community with each other while working on crafting. Throws are the handmade trinkets signature to the Chewbacchus parade. We hand them out to the crowd as we march.
While members are encouraged to work on their costumes and throws on their own throughout the year, costume & throw-making parties serve as an opportunity to learn tips, get help, and bounce ideas off of each other. Members usually bring their own costumes or supplies, but WoW will have extra crafting supplies available. This is also pot-luck snack style so bring a treat, beverage, or libation to share!
